I first saw the concept of Smoking Area at unmodern last year. “Nicotine level from each smoker would determines the inflation of the yellow interactive square bubble on the monitor above each person”. Now, a similar concept just appears in current exhibition at GALERIE QUANG, Paris. “Smoker’s lamp uses simple smoke detection sensors, which continue to play their role, but translate into colour and sound the gradual saturation of the room by the exhalations of the art-loving cigarette smokers” (exerpt from HEHE’s doc) [shock][shock][shock]
