this song will be featured in the forthcoming theatrical version of ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版 : 序 (evangelion shin gekijouban : jo) which is the first of four new evangelion film-series scheduled to release on september 1^st, 2007.

and one more great news. hikki’s single titled 「flavor of life」 has become the world’s biggest selling digital single with sales of seven million units across all formats (it reached 5,580,000 downloads by april 2007) beating the u.s. top selling digital song “bad day” by daniel powter which sold just over two million units in 2006. (s. variety)

p.s. hikki additionally holds the record for japan’s best selling album of all time with her japanese debut album, “first love” released in 1999 which has already sold nearly eight million copies.

i’m glad to hear that…you know that hikki is my most favorite female artist for all time….i’m a big fan of hers HAHA ^^. hmm…after grab a whole single from the internet and listen to this song, i feel that this song is great with a tasteful melody but i don’t like her singing style in this song…her voice is so weird, isn’t it?!

how can i describe my admiration towards her “Utada Hikaru”?

she’s never stoped her talent to only one or two style of music. she can create her songs in the variety of sound. this single is just great and great. i was thrilled by only the started first tune.
