The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is the first of a three-part film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit. The trilogy serves as prequels to The Lord of the Rings. The film depicts Bilbo Baggins and his adventure, many years before The Lord of The Rings.

The film is entertaining to watch, special effect is wonderful, the attention to detail is once again, mesmerizing. Although the story seems to move a bit slower that it should be (One book to three films?). I am looking forward to watch the Making-Of when they release Blu-ray version, and probably will very much enjoy it more than the actual film.
