SCRE4M | Wes Craven (2011) ★★★½☆
Yes, Scream is finally back for its fourth installment of the famous slasher series. Introducing new characters portrayed by Hayden Panettiere (from Heroes), and Emma Roberts (Niece of Julia Roberts) with reunion of characters Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), Dewey Riley (David Arquette), and Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox)

On the night of Woodsboro massacre’s anniversary, two high school students are attacked and brutally killed by a Ghostface. Just right in time for the arrival of Sidney Prescott who returns to Woodsboro for her new book’s promotion. And a new serial-stabbing begins.

Scream 4 is indeed pretty good. It gets really close to the original Scream. It is cliché, yet unbelievably fun. Scare, thrill, and humor all twist into one film and still does not look stupid. If you enjoy the first Scream, it is time to get cinematic experience once again with SCRE4M. The opening sequence is awesome.
