looks like it’s slumdoscar year, slumdog millionaire was nominated for ten academy awards and snatched eight of them. not that i don’t like the film, but just i don’t think it has what it takes to get best pictures though.

i am sad that låt den rätte komma in didn’t get nominated for best foreign film just because it does not represent artistically its country. penélope cruz deserved an oscar for her role in vicky cristina barcelona.
