well, i guess many of you heard about “OLPC” (one laptop per child) which was first introduced by nicholas negroponte at the world economic forum in january 2005, so i won’t say anything about it no more. if you have no idea what’s it all about, please go and read here

the green thingy above is conceptual design of the laptop by continuum. it looks like a vibrant coloured toy with small screen. but what is that yellow lever?!? i absolutely have no idea. kids must love it!

anyway, it seems continuum is not the only company asked by MIT to produce the conceptual design for this $100 laptop. frog has entered this revolution as well. (frog has been one of my most favorite design studio for a very long time.) in june 2005, MIT media lab asked frog to explore a $100 laptop for the education markets in emerging countries and here’s the design from frog. nice…
