The Twilight Saga: New Moon | Chris Weitz (2009) ★★☆☆☆
All hail to the new breeds of vampire and werewolf. Just forget everything you have been told about them. Vampires ain’t just blood suckers anymore, each of them comes with special unique ability; mind reading, mind control, incredible agility, precognition, and so on. Werewolves no longer need the moon to transform, they can change anytime at will! well, unfortunately the main focus here is vampires so werewolves do not have any special abilities.

New Moon is the second installment in The Twilight Saga, the sequel to twilight. It is definitely a movie for the fans who already read the books, I believe they can fulfill their dreams by watching dreamy (creepy?) Edward Cullen comes to life on huge screen. The Volturi are amusing. Bella is amazingly beautiful even when her head is bleeding. But my favorite character here is Alice Cullen portrayed by Ashley Greene.

I did enjoy the film a bit since there are more of action sequences comparing to the first film. The dialogue is sloppy and so lame. I bet there are hundreds of “I cannot live without you” or something that literally means the same thing in the novel. When hearing them saying that too often in the film, it is kinda spooky actually.
