Largo Winch is the film adaptation based on a 1990 Belgian comic book series by Philippe Francq and Jean Van Hamme. The story depicts the mysterious death of a billionaire Nerio Winch, the chief executive and the founder of an international empire “W” group.

The board of executives are in panic to find the solution after the sudden death of Nerio Winch as their opponent Michail Korsky is trying to buy the share of W group which Nerio held 61%. Surprisingly a secret heir to W’s throne appears out of nowhere, Largo Winch who has been adopted by Nerio since Largo was a kid. But all of these are parts of the masterplan by someone who wants to take over W group. Largo must find the person who is responsible for his foster father’s death and ensure the survival of his holdings.

This French film features lame and weak plot, I read comic book and watched the film at the same time and still could understand everything. Ick. I heard there will be a sequel in 2011, and I was like… Err. Really?
