“a holiday collection” from jewel is simply irresistable. it’s the hybrid combination of folk, pop, classic and a bit of celtic. the arrangements are minimalist and quite unique. few selected instruments and the angelic voice accompanied by the choir make the songs instantly sound elegant and wonderful.

“ave maria” in jewel’s rendition is incredibly gorgeous. “rudolph the red-nosed reindeer” is another great song which she used two sets of voice, one sung in low octave and another in high octave. “a holiday collection” is one of the best christmas albums indeed.
