paul potts, a moblie phone salesman from port talbot in south wales, the winner of the first series of itv’s britain’s got talent, performing an operatic aria, nessun dorma (turandot). stunning! of course he’s not so good as great operatic tenors like luciano pavarotti or andrea bocelli. but he’s good. nobody was expecting that coming.
