rin’ is a group three japanese instrumental pop trio; mana (吉永真奈), tomoca (長須与佳), and chie (新井智) together, they have created pop tunes driven by traditional japanese instruments. by the way, they all graduated from tokyo national university of fine arts and music.

in this album, they use several traditional instruments such as wind instruments, strings, drums and their haunted vocals to illustrate classic tunes in contemporary mood. クリスマス・イブ and “merry christmas mr. lawrence” are my most favorite tracks.
