Stargate Universe (SG●U) เป็นซีรีส์ไซไฟที่ spin-off มาจาก Stargate แต่ไม่ได้มีความสัมพันธ์กับซีรีส์ SG-1 และ Stargate Atlantis แต่อย่างใด ตัว Timeline ของ SGU จะเป็นยุคปัจจุบัน ที่กลุ่มทหารได้ค้นพบยานอวกาศโบราณ หลังจากที่ถูกบีบบังคับให้ผ่าน Stargate เนื่องจากฐานถูกโจมตีอย่างหนัก ยานอวกาศที่มีชื่อแปลเป็นภาษาอังกฤษว่า Destiny ล่องลอยอยู่ในอวกาศมาหลายล้านปีแล้ว ด้วยโปรแกรมที่ถูกตั้ง mission ไว้ล่วงหน้า

ในซีซั่นที่สองนี้เนื้อเรื่องจะเข้มข้นขึ้น จากการโดนเทคโอเวอร์ในตอนจบของซีซั่นหนึ่ง มีการเพิ่มตัวละครใหม่ๆ เข้ามา (และหายไปอย่างรวดเร็วใน 1 -2 ตอน) มีการค้นพบจุดหมายที่แท้จริงของยาน Destiny และการต้องเลือกระหว่างชีวิตคนบนยานกับจุดหมายที่ยิ่งใหญ่กว่า (ของยาน Destiny) คนที่ดูมาตลอดจะจับทางได้แล้วว่าตัวละครหลักจะไม่มีทางตาย แม้ว่าจะถูกทิ้งไว้ที่นู่นที่นี่ อีกสักพักก็จะหาทางกลับมาได้เอง หรือมีคนกลับไปช่วย

โดยรวมแล้วซีซั่นสองก็ถือว่าสนุกว่าซีซั่นหนึ่งมากทีเดียว ซีซั่นนี้เป็นซีซั่นสุดท้ายของ Stargate Universer แล้วเนื่องจากทาง syfy channel ได้ตัดสินใจแคนเซิ่ลซีรีส์ไปเรียบร้อย และถึงแม้ว่าจะไม่ถูกแคนเซิ่ล ผมก็คิดว่ามันไม่น่าจะไปได้เกินซีซั่นสามแล้ว เพราะทุกอย่างมันเฉลยออกมาเกือบหมดในข่วงกลางของซีซั่นสอง ต่อมาก็เป็นพวกของที่ใส่เสริมเติมเต็มเข้าไปเท่านั้น

ntt docomo has developed the prototype of mobile phone with the case made of wood. the prototype was created in collaboration with sharp, olympus and “more trees,” a reforeststation project by 坂本龍 (sakamoto ryuichi). each wood handset features its own grain patterns and natural color.

barack obama is probably the first presidential nominee who completely enters realm of graphic design. every once in a while i’ve seen the design for obama here and there, and now it’s like everywhere! i have subscribed to several graphic design related blogs, and they’re all talking about obama and graphic of obama!

design for obama is created by aaron perry-zucker and adam meyer, filled up with loads of cool posters designed by graphic artists to support barack obama. each poster can be printed out in a4 paper. there’re many interesting posters; such as polar bear for obama, all colors together, and remote.control
